Juicy Lucy Rated Favorite Glenwood Springs Restaurant By Locals For Fresh Seafood
Consistently Delicious Food at Juicy Lucy’s Steakhouse Restaurant With the Best Glenwood Springs Crab
After having eaten at Juicy Lucy’s Steakhouse restaurant in Glenwood Springs a hundred times, I have finally decided to write my opinions for what has become my favorite place to eat.
My job necessitates a drive between Grand Junction and Denver weekly. I visit my accounts along the way – mainly in the Roaring Fork Valley. Most mornings I leave Grand Junction before dawn and make my way to Aspen, bouncing from client to client until I get to Glenwood Springs – usually close to lunch time.

All my life I drifted toward big, countrywide chain restaurants because they are always fairly consistent. That’s a pretty good method in most parts of the country, and after lunches at some local restaurants I stuck by that maxim. I love diversity as much as anyone, but I was pretty disappointed. Finally I decided to ask a few Glenwood Springs citizens what local restaurants were the best. Obviously, I received many different opinions but a frequent note was Juicy Lucy’s Steakhouse.
The local denizens invariably had good things to say about Juicy Lucy’s, and frankly, after finding the place I was impressed immediately. By immediately I suggest I was impressed even in the parking lot. Juicy Lucy’s is conveniently found at the heart of the fun Glenwood Springs downtown community and only yards from the massive Glenwood Hot Springs pool. It is set amidst all kinds of trendy shops and remarkable architecture. Juicy Lucy’s itself is inside in a structure that was constructed during the town’s heyday as a spa destination, enhancing the historic charm. Once inside, I was impressed from start to finish. The inviting restaurant was a bustle of activity even at lunch, but the staff was friendly and attentive, and we found a booth quickly.
Honestly, I have been there many times now and I have never had to wait long at all – even on the few times I hit the place for supper on the way back to Grand Junction. And once seated, the food is out of this world. I have sampled everything from their extensive appetizer menu to their house specialties and have not once been disappointed. Juicy Lucy’s has a long wine list – from delicious, inexpensive domestics to pricey but impeccable imports.
They have expanded and revamped the dining room, and the place is bigger and even better. Regardless of how many times I have eaten there, I still stop at Juicy Lucy’s Steakhouse restaurant whenever I am in Glenwood Springs.
